The family cat cannot be blamed for the eradication of our birds and wildlife. These cats kill the rats, mice, stoats and weasels who do more damage to our native birds population including stealing eggs from nesting birds. The main problem is the human race not taking responsibility in speying, neutering their cat to avoid breeding. Also the people who abandon their cats in bush areas to become wild/feral are the biggest problem as they are not being responsible for their actions in doing this.
My name is Ellee and I will be blogging with you this summer for the Summer Learning journey!
I really like you persuasive writing about cats! Me personally I don't much like cats but I don't think they should be banned as pets. You've bought up some great points on the topic though and it was wonderful to read! i am hoping that I will be able to read some more fantastic posts from you over the Summer too :)
